We love our Buzz Off mosquito system. It's so nice to be able to let my three children play outside in the warm months, worry-free, and not have to coat them in lotions and sprays. Our house backs up to a low area that often has standing water, and before we had the system installed the mosquitoes were just awful. Now, we're into our second summer, and we love just not having to worry about it. The folks at Buzz Off -- Kim, our sales agent, and Patrick, our technician -- have been great and very responsive whenever we've needed adjustments to nozzles, or when we've accidentally cut a line, etc. The customer service hasn't waivered. After we had completed the renovation of our home on Piney Woods Lake, Zak Knight contacted us for an appointment to demonstrate a system called BuzzOFF. We learned that BuzzOFF is a system that aids in the control of many household pests, and is a positive method of addressing the growing threat of insect-borne diseases. I must admit, it seemed too good to be true, that something so simple could make our life outside so pleasant. We spend a great deal of time outside and living close to water, we have an increased number of insects.
We chose to install the system based on all of the information Zak gave us, and I must say, that I cannot imagine life without BuzzOFF. The solution used that kills and repels mosquitoes is made primarily from the Chrysanthemum flower, and is not offensive. Our system is set to go off 3 times during the night, and I love having the remote control to activate the system at will when it is necessary. Those times usually occur when having friends over for an outside dinner on the patio.
Our porch remains spider free, and the plants that the landscape risers are close to, have remained free of spider mites as well.
Zak has been very responsive to keep our tank filled with the solution, and making sure our system is working properly. If you are considering the installation of this system, I highly endorse that you install it, and you will not be disappointed. It has allowed our time outside to be "bug-free".
